MELKOM Group of Companies, one of Russia’s leading producers of feed for industrial aquaculture, will serve as the General Partner of the Aqua Farm Global specialised exhibition at Seafood Expo Russia 2026 with its AQUAREX brand.

The AQUAREX plant is a high-tech production facility manufacturing feed for salmonid, sturgeon, carp and whitefish species. The feed is produced using fishmeal and fish oil according to formulations used by leading fish farms across various regions of Russia. The products are suitable for all stages of fish farming.

MELKOM Group of Companies is actively developing its production and expanding its range of feeds in response to market challenges and the needs of fish farmers. In 2024 the company successfully tested a new line of starter feeds developed in cooperation with the Russian Federal Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography (VNIRO), a State Research Centre of the Russian Federation.

The AQUAREX plant is located on the banks of the Volga River near the Moscow-St Petersburg transport corridor and was commissioned in 2009. Its location and production capacity enable the company to deliver feed promptly to customers throughout Russia. The plant was designed by specialists from the Swiss group BUHLER AG and equipped with modern machinery, enabling the production of feed with specified quality parameters.

In 2026, MELKOM is expanding its production capabilities with the opening of a new modern extruded feed plant for commercial aquaculture in Vyazma. The new plant will have an annual production capacity of 108,000 tonnes of finished products.
